Ithaca, NY - 4/25/07 - Feline expert and veterinary leader James R. Richards died yesterday from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.
Ithaca, NY - 4/25/07 - Feline expert and veterinary leader James R. Richards died yesterday from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.
Richards was director of the Feline Health Center at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (CUCVM), past-president of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). He was 58.
Richards is survived by his wife Anita Fox Richards and two sons, Jesse and Seth.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., April 28, at the Bethel Grove Bible Church, 1763 Slaterville Road, Ithaca. Memorial donations may be made to the Cornell Feline Health Center, College of Veterinary Medicine, Ithaca, N.Y. 14853.
