As David Bowie says, "Time may change me." And time's probably changed your practice, too. Did you have computers in your practice 10 years ago? Or five? Perhaps. How do you use them? Do you schedule appointments, search the Web for product information, or look for tools to educate clients and improve your practice's efficiency?
The good news: However you're using computers in practice, it just got easier. Firstline and its sister publications, DVM Newsmagazine, Veterinary Economics, and Veterinary Medicine, have launched a new site—DVM360.com—to offer all the tools you need in one place. That's more news, medicine, business, and team content than you'll find anywhere else on the Internet.

Our goal: to create a one-stop shop when you need answers right now. That's why the site is equipped with a powerful search engine to offer quick answers to your biggest problems. For example, search for team conflict and you'll find more than 2,500 results—the articles and tools you need to help your team improve morale and build stronger relationships.
And as you're building those relationships in your practice, don't forget to reach out to colleagues for their ideas and tips. Our new veterinary community offers message boards to post your most pressing questions, blog about your roughest days, post photos of your own furry friends, and watch video or listen to audio from experts in the profession. We hope you'll take a few minutes to check us out.
As we're changing on the Web, we're also changing in print. The biggest change: Next month you'll have a new editor. Kerry Hillard Johnson, an editor with a keen eye and a sharp pencil, comes to Firstline from Veterinary Economics. And she brings a wealth of experience and ideas to continue to offer the tools you need to be successful.
Change can be a little scary, but it also offers the opportunity to grow. I'm leaving the magazine to spend more time with my 3-year-old son and my daughter (due any day). And I'll still be your biggest cheerleader as you continue on your mission to educate clients with confidence, build strong relationships with co-workers, offer high-quality client and patient care, and maximize your contributions to your veterinary practice.
Please welcome Kerry and send her all your great ideas for topics you'd like to see in the magazine and online. We'll see you on the Web!
