Entries will be accepted from September 1, 2023 to November 7, 2023
The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) announced it is now accepting entries for its 7th annual VETTY Awards. Non-profit and for-profit agencies and organizations are encouraged to submit projects for consideration for the chance to be recognized for marketing excellence within the animal health care industry.
"The VETTY Awards allow us to recognize and celebrate marketing excellence in the veterinary and animal health care industry," said NAVC CEO Gene O'Neill, in an organizational release.1 "We look forward to seeing who will be the 'best of show' among entries this year, all of which are submitted by talented creatives who are dedicated to promoting products and services that help animals everywhere live longer, better quality lives."
According to the organizational release,1 any work being submitted for consideration must have been created between November 1, 2022, and October 31, 2023. The division of the entries are composed of a range of communications and marketing mediums such as advertising, digital, event, print, social media, website, and more.
The early bird deadline will be on October 31, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST and the final deadline is November 7, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST. The winners will then be notified mid-December so arrangements can be made for them to travel to the Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX) in Orlando, Florida on January 13-17, 2024. The winners will be announced at the conference on January 15, 2024, and they will be featured in the VMX Expo Hall as well as on the VETTY Awards.1
Last year’s winners include BluePrints Veterinary Marketing Group, who received 2 Gold VETTY Awards. They were honored for 2 outstanding websites, Kokopelli Assisted Reproductive Services in the B2B/Trade division and Riverview Animal Clinic in the Consumer division.2
“It is truly gratifying to receive top recognition for creating robust websites that promote some of the best in veterinary medicine. Bruce Christensen, DVM, MS, DACT from Kokopelli, and Amy Tate, DVM from Riverview, are both true trailblazers,” said Robin Brogdon, BluePrints’ CEO and founder, in a company release from January 2023.2
