Some veterinary staff members are just not interested in Fear Free. Janet McConnell, CVT, director of education and professional development at Compassion-First Pet Hospitals, understands that it will take a lot of energy to get those staff members to buy in.
With those people, McConnell says you just need to continue sharing your Fear Free success stories with them. Ultimately, doing so will help chip away at their resistance. McConnell gives an example of a success story with her own dog, Marley.
