Heather Wilson-Robles, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology), associate professor in the veterinary medicine and biomedical sciences department at Texas A&M University, explains how canine lymphoma and human lymphoma are very similar. Humans don’t usually get the small cell GI lymphomas that cats get, but being FIV positive is similar to HIV viral infections, she says.
