The new building near Kansas City, Kan., will help biological, pharmacological, and R&D teams work closely together.
Representatives of Fort Dodge Animal Health report that the company's new research and development facility in Olathe, Kan., is scheduled to open in 2009. The new facility will make it easier for the biological and pharmaceutical sides of the research and development teams to work together, says Kelly Goss, associate director of public relations and communications. The facility will host some new projects and some that are now in existence with a focus on bringing innovative products to the veterinary market, says Dr. Stephen Jaffe, director of companion animal professional services at Fort Dodge Animal Health.
