Green Gruff Veterinary debuts canine CBD supplements

Green Gruff Veterinary has unveiled Green Gruff Veterinary EASE Joint & Hip—a full-spectrum cannabidiol (CBD) chew that uses a science-backed formulation to enhance canine mobility and joint health.

According to a company release¹, clinical trials were conducted by Companion Sciences' investigators using an experimental and control group of rats. The study found that after administering Green Gruff Veterinary EASE Joint & Hip, the concentration of glucosamine increased in blood plasma and synovial fluid in comparison to glucosamine alone. These trials also displayed no negative effects or anomalies, supporting the safety of Green Gruff Veterinary’s ingredients, according to the company.

The patent-pending chews include 5mg of full-spectrum CBD and 400mg of glucosamine. The main ingredient is cricket protein, which contains the 9 essential amino acids for improving the gut microbiome and decreasing inflammation.¹
