To help veterinary professionals and pet owners stay afloat during flea and tick season, Seresto, Elanco’s nonprescription flea and tick collar, launched its Season Pass guide. The guide is designed to equip pet owners with expert information on protecting pets from fleas and ticks.

“Pet parents often don’t realize how incredibly costly, time-consuming, and disease-spreading cases of fleas and tick-borne infection are until their own pet is impacted,” said Lisa Lippman, DVM, Seresto’s chief protection officer, in an organizational release.

“That’s why I can’t emphasize enough that using a flea and tick preventative year-round is the best way to help protect our beloved pets from fleas and ticks. As Seresto’s CPO and a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of protection and look forward to helping pet owners confidently enjoy pest-free adventures this spring,” she added.1

According to the release, this spring guide will help pet parents by providing helpful care and protection tips as well as veterinarian-approved activities to help create pest-free fun.1 The list, created by Lippman, includes helpful pearls such as cleaning pet bedding regularly, practicing checking for ticks and understanding how to remove them, and keeping yards mowed and foliage trimmed.
