Usually, when a starving dog is found, people will want to immediately feed the dog and give them as much food and nourishment as possible. But, it's important to keep track of their food intake and have a veterinarian prescribe how much food they should be fed daily. Their actions — how much they urinate and defecate — as well as their weight gain should be documented, as well.
