Dayton, Ohio - The Iams Company has launched a service that willallow veterinarians to directly place and control home delivery orders.
EukanDoIt.com offers veterinarians a virtual product warehouse. Oncea client orders a product through his or her veterinarian, it is delivereddirect to the client's home.
This free, Web-based service is exclusive to veterinarians and theirstaff, and offers clinics expanded product selections without increasinginventory.
The system, according to Iams, gives veterinarians total control of theprocess and ensures better recommendation compliance. Orders are placedat the veterinary clinic. The clinic collects the costs and shipping charges. The order is electronically routed to the appropriate Iams distributor whereit is shipped. The distributor then invoices the clinic for the wholesaleproduct cost and shipping charges.
To enroll in the program, Iams is asking veterinarians to contact theirsales representatives.
