Idea Exchange: A purr-fect scale distraction
Use this tip to distract patients and get a more accurate weight.

We placed a small window cling of a cat on the floor next to our scale. The cling holds the interest of most of our patients and keeps them oriented toward the long axis of the scale. Usually while they are busy sniffing, trying to figure out if it is a real cat, they stay relatively still and we are able to weigh them.
