The interactive experience at the Veterinary Economics Managers' Retreat

Article

Interactive sessions and new perspectives about communication skills and conflict management strategies top the list of benefits for attendees at the Veterinary Economics Managers' Retreat.

In this video, attendee Amy Rutledge from Brighton Animal Clinic talks with dvm360 Content Director Marnette Falley about the sessions that Brian Conrad, CVPM, led at the Veterinary Economics Managers' Retreat. This special program takes place before the CVC in Kansas City, and focuses specifically on the issues that managers face in veterinary practice.

Rutledge said the morning sessions helped her better understand what other veterinary team members might think when they're participating in training that she facilitates. And, she said, the sessions focused on the importance of communication skills and the idea that some conflict is healthy conflict.
