After a long day of walking around and filling your mind with new knowledge, you might want to grab a drink and put your feet up—who’d blame you? Las Vegas thrives on its nightlife, which means your options are just about endless when it comes to finding the perfect watering hole.

You can pick your evening’s ambiance from cozy hideaways, gastro-pubs, ice lounges, and fine restaurants. Here’s where you’ll find some of the best drinks close to the Mandalay Bay.

It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar: Relax at this bar where no one will judge what time you walk in. Located in the Flamingo Hotel, this low-key venue had an outdoor bar offering one of the best views of the Vegas Strip you can get. Oh, and it offers 5-cent beers daily from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

Piano Bar: If you like jazz, you’ll love Piano Bar located in Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, right across from Mandalay Bay. This upbeat, casual lounge offers singers, tribute acts and, best of all, dueling pianos.

Minus5° Ice Lounge: Feeling adventurous? Minus5° Ice Lounge is exactly what it sounds like—an ice bar. Enjoy sipping on specialty cocktails in the warm coat that you can rent. This bar is named for its frosty temperature—minus 5° C (23° F)—and the bar itself is made completely of 100% pure Canadian ice.

Crown & Anchor British Pub: If you’re looking for something reminiscent of across the pond, Crown & Anchor will transport you to where you need to be. This tavern is open 24/7, so feel free to stop by for a drink at any time day or night.

Nine Fine Irishmen: Located inside the New York New York Hotel & Casino, Nine Fine Irishmen is your spot to experience all that an Irish pub has to offer. Outfitted with Irish garb from head to toe, this pub offers lively music with its drinks and eats.

Public House: This gastropub features over 200 beers and is the place to go if you’re feeling a little fancy. Located inside the Venetian, this upscale-casual bar and eatery offers cask ale, 24 taps, and a very deep wine selection for your perusal.
