I read with pleasure your interview with Dr. Charles E. Short in the January issue, being one of the many who was fortunate enough to have been inspired by him.
I read with pleasure your interview with Dr. Charles E. Short in the January issue, being one of the many who was fortunate enough to have been inspired by him. Many years ago when I was an undergraduate student, he allowed this eager pre-vet student to be a lowly peon for the anesthesia crew in the Large Animal Clinic at Cornell. Eighteen years later, I still remember the intellect, teamwork, and good cheer of that crew.
Dr. Short's persistent striving for excellence put me in good stead for developing the attitude I have tried to bring to my practice of medicine. Thank you, Dr. Short.
