Christopher Pachel, DVM, DACVB, CABC: This [talk] really dives into a lot of the well, not only the decision making process, but also some of the emotional weight that pet owners or individuals who are working in the shelter system, and perhaps—not perhaps—and especially the veterinary team members, who are ultimately responsible for that act of behavioral euthanasia. What does that weight look like? Where does it come from? How do we navigate it?
