She noted in this dvm360® interview that the Queen City has a delightful southern food scene, plus shared that a colleague is going to provide her with a restaurant tour.

Tasha McNerney, CVT, CVPP, VTS (Anesthesia and Analgesia): I love Charlotte, [North Carolina]. Actually my mom had a house in Charlotte for a really long time. And, I give this answer a lot because it's the truth. I'm really looking [forward] to the food. Charlotte has a really great food scene.
