Mobile Practices Need a Referral Network

As a house-call veterinarian, you should still have relationships with brick-and-mortar veterinary hospitals for referrals.

Jeremy Gransky, DVM, veterinary officer for MVS Pet Care, says mobile veterinary practices are ideally suited for primary care. This means that as a house-call veterinarian, you should still have relationships with brick-and-mortar veterinary hospitals for referrals.

As a house-call veterinarian, you form really great bonds with owners and their pets, Dr. Gransky says, but you also form bonds with the stationary practices in your area.
