COLUMBIA, MO. - 11/15/05 - The University of Missouri-Columbia's (MU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) received $1 million from Thelma Zalk to improve its library.
COLUMBIA, MO. - 11/15/05 - The University of Missouri-Columbia's (MU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) received $1 million from Thelma Zalk to improve its library.
The facility will be renovated and named the Zalk Veterinary Medical Library, officials say.
The project will be part of a larger project to update the veterinary campus.
Zalk is the daughter of a veterinarian and has been a benefactor of the college for 20 years, creating the Thelma P. Zalk Missouri Professorship of Tumor Angiogenesis and donated additional funds for programs at the college.
