Jeremy Gransky, DVM, veterinary officer for MVS Pet Care, explains the benefits of owning a mobile veterinary franchise with the support of a team.

"Mobile practice is not something new, but I don't know how many veterinarians are currently engaged in it. I do know that there is nothing like what we're offering in terms of helping practitioners to set up their own mobile practice. It's really a great entry point to practice ownership so a veterinarian who may have a few years of experience and is considering going out on their own, but doesn't want to take on what's involved in opening up a brick-and-mortar practice in terms of all of the legwork and a huge expense, this is a really nice way to own your own practice with support from a team.

This is not similar to a corporate owned structure like Banfield or VCA, each individual veterinarian owns their own practice so they own their own franchise of MVS, but it's branded to them, they have their own clients, and because they own their own practice they have a lot more flexibility in terms of practicing the way they want to practice, setting their own hours on their own schedule, and really putting their own stamp on their practice."
