COLUMBUS, OHIO — Karin Zuckerman, former chief executive officer of Easter Seals of Southeast Ohio, took over as the new director of the Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) April 11.
Zuckerman is the first women to hold the post. She took over for Interim Director Dr. Rustin Moore, associate dean for clinical sciences and outreach, who had been filling in since last year when former Director Dr. Grant Frazer returned home to Australia after 20 years at Ohio State.
The university cited Zuckerman's experience running non-profit organizations and fundraising as key benefits for her new position.
In addition to her work at Easter Seals, Zuckerman worked for Nationwide Children's Hospital and holds master's of business administration as well as a master's of health services administration degrees.
