Stillwater, Okla.
-- The Oklahoma State University Veterinary Alumni Association has launched a $1 million campaight for veterinary student scholarships as part of the university's Branding Success Campaign.
Members of the association say they hope to convince 1,000 alumni and friends of the veterinary center to donate $1,000 to establish a fund called "The Alumni and Friends Endowed Scholarship Fund."
Pledges received before October 31 that total $50,000 or more will be eligible for Pickens Legacy Scholarship Matching Funds, creating the possibility for a $2 million endowment if the association successfully raises the initial $1 million.
Those interested in donating can call the university at (405) 744-5630.
