Corvallis, Ore. -- The Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at Oregon State University received a full five-year accreditation from the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians based on a three-day site visit last August.

-- The Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at Oregon State University received a full five-year accreditation from the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians based on a three-day site visit last August.
The laboratory provides a range of animal-disease diagnostic services for veterinarians, government agencies, food-animal producers and researchers throughout the region. It also serves as a training facility for future veterinarians being educated at the school's College of Veterinary Medicine. The lab also is the official state laboratory for West Nile virus, Lyme disease, avian flu and rabies tests, and receives more then 16,000 samples per year.
