-- The University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital is offering a "primary-care" service for routine and wellness check-ups.
The hospital's small-animal primary-care service opened in May and is coordinated by Dr. Kandi Norrell.
Primary-care services include new puppy and kitten care, annual vaccinations and wellness examinations, treatment for minor injuries, preventive medicine, nutritional consultations, management of acute and chronic illness and medical conditions, and geriatric pet care, the university reports.
