Tasha McNerney, CVT, CVPP, VTS (Anesthesia and Analgesia): When you get started, make sure you have a senior [technician] or a senior doctor anesthesiologist who is familiar with the equipment and can walk you through [using a laryngoscope]. This is not a complicated piece of equipment, and again, not meant to add a lot of time or steps or stress to your day. And in fact, once you get into the habit of using it, it really will become just like placing a catheter, just like utilizing the ultrasound probe.
