Dear Dr. Owner: I am writing to introduce myself and tell you of my availability to work as a relief veterinarian at your practice. I am interested in practicing high-quality medicine in a hospital that will use my abilities fully and where I can contribute to its continued success.

I have practiced on dogs, cats, and exotic pets during the past four years working at a private small animal hospital. I am particularly interested in endocrinology and feline medicine.
