This time-saving technique will help your veterinary staff stay on schdule and keep your clients happy.
Many of our clients can't afford a whole box of heartworm or flea and tick preventives at a time, so we break them down into single doses. To save time, we load the dispensing envelopes with the informational product insert and reminder stickers in advance and keep them in the drawer with the rest of the product. When we're ready to dispense a dose, we grab the envelope, put in the number of doses the client requests, attach a prescription label to the outside of the envelope, and it's ready to go!
