Inspires participants to promote their physical and mental well-being while supporting an important cause
Suveto has announced the “Let’s Move Together” challenge running June 20, 2022 to July 20, 2022, and is inviting the public to partake in it by registering and getting active and exercising individually or with friends.
According to a company release,1 this is an excellent way to also promote your mental well-being while supporting a great cause—Not One More Vet (NOMV). This organization transforms the status of mental wellness in the veterinary field and offers the needed support to all members of veterinary teams and students facing challenges in mental health or those considering suicide.
“We created the Let’s Move Together challenge to support the mental health needs of veterinary professionals, because we know the important role that physical exercise and self-care play,” said Heather Loenser, DVM, vice president of professional development, culture, and well-being, Suveto, in an email to dvm360®. “NOMV is doing amazing work and we are proud to partner with them to raise awareness and financial support for suicide prevention.”
For every activity participants log in atlasGO, Suveto will donate to NOMV until it attains its goal of $10,000. Suveto is encouraging individuals involved in the challenge to sport their favorite runnings shoes, workout apparel, and “Move Together” while spreading NOMV’s message: “Because you are good enough, and you are never alone.”
