Sonja Olson, DVM: I'm feeling more optimistic and hopeful [about the future of mental well-being in veterinary medicine]. Genuinely, and that's my nature, yes, but I also believe that there is a listening that is different. There is an awareness in our communities, that this is needed and necessary that there's a paradigm shift that's happening, and really really importantly, that it's not just the individual's responsibility. Heck no.
