Alexandre Contreras, VT: The doctors are the brains of the organization but, without the technicians, it’s just a practice. I feel like we are the first line of defense. We see the clients and the patients before they even get to the doctor. So that’s where I see that we are vital in this profession. The passion and the excitement that we bring to the job, I truly believe, stems from a young age. I truly feel that these technicians are the moving mechanics of a veterinary practice.
