Marshall, MPH, DVM, DABVP (Avian): I'm going to borrow a quote from the website, which is mentoring.org as my answer [to why mentorship is valuable in the veterinary industry]: 'All it takes is one person who sees, understands, and cares about you.' We are losing people in [the veterinary] profession because they don't feel seen. And I think that mentorship is so powerful because it requires me to consciously see you.
