Patrick Mahaney, VMD, CVA, CVJ: Holistic approaches, I think should be just considered not even like crazy woo-woo things, like these are just practical things that support animals on a general day-to-day basis. Diet is really important when it comes to management of giardia. if you have a lower fiber diet, you're gonna potentially not be producing bowel movements as often and so giardia could just kind of sit there in the digestive tract.
