The expo, Oct. 10-13 at Hynes Convention Center, highlighted the roleof search and rescue dogs involved in efforts to find victims, and securitydogs that protect the public.
Organizers announced that Tufts Animal Expo will donate $5,000 to theBoston Police Bureau of Special Operations, K-9 Unit and $5,000 to the MassachusettsCanine Training Fund for Federal Emergency Management Agency Urban Searchand Rescue teams.
