St. Kitts, Virgin Islands - 6/28/07 - Tufts veterinary school is now a clinical training affiliate for Ross University veterinary students.
The deal, announced today, allows Ross University students to gain clinical experience at Tufts for the last three semesters of training.
"It is great that Tufts, among the nation's finest universities, has discovered what many at Ross University have known for the past 25 years - the academic experience at Ross prepares students to become exceptional veterinarians," says Peter Goetz, vice president for marketing and enrollment at Ross University.
After students complete their clinical training, Ross University students will be eligible to sit for national licensing exams, the university reports.
