Often, interviewers will ask technical questions — about your personal background and experience — along with behavioral-based questions — about specific past experiences and specific scenarios you were in.
Just remember 'STAR' next time you're asked a behavioral question: situation, task, action and result. The interviewer is asking you these situation-based questions to see how quickly you can think on your feet and find out whether you are a learning adaptable person.
