Veterinarian with a love for wildlife photography

Carl Palazzolo, DVM, MBA, has traveled from Africa to Antarctica to every other continent in between to photograph the extraordinary wildlife the earth has to offer. In this dvm360® interview, he shares his favorite place he's visited and offers advice for those interested in wildlife photography.

Carl Palazzolo, DVM, MBA: But more importantly, the biggest thing is not the camera, not the lens. It's spending time in nature, wanting to be in nature. That's the reward by itself. If I go somewhere unique in the world, and look at the photos of a certain animal and I come back, I'm happy because I have a reason to go back. I just love to be in nature.
