VPI pet insurance reaches more than 2,000 businesses
Provider offers group discount to small and large employers.

Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) recently announced that a new high of 2,000 companies offer its pet health insurance as a voluntary employee benefit. Participating companies of all sizes receive a group discount on annual plan premiums, and companies with more than 500 employees can offer automatic payroll deductions for monthly premiums.
Participating companies include small business as well as such giants as Procter and Gamble, Viacom, and Office Depot. VPI started its corporate benefits program in 1999 focusing on veterinary hospitals. The number of veterinary and nonveterinary participating companies and associations has risen 35 percent since 2005.
