Learn all about this year's Fetch dvm360® conference in Kansas City, Missouri!

Offering the opportunity to network, brainstorm, and learn from renowned authorities, our meeting will also equip you with resource materials and strategies you can implement immediately.

“We know the importance of creating memories, connecting with one another, and receiving top-notch education from international experts,” said Adam Christman, DVM, MBA, chief veterinary officer at dvm360®. “We are proud to deliver content for equine, bovine, and mixed animal veterinary professionals, right here in America’s heartland,” he added.

More than 160 credit hours will be offered in more than 40 tracks, including dermatology, dentistry, pain management, emergency and critical care, practice management, behavioral medicine, and hospital design.

“The pandemic has changed the way in which pet parents interact with their fur babies, and we recognize the importance of learning animal behavior. Fear Free has helped us with this initiative, and I hope you enjoy their talks during the track on hospital-design," Christman said.

Christopher Pachel, DVM, DACVB, CABC, lead clinician and owner of Animal Behavior Clinic, in Portland, Oregon, will kick off the meeting at 8 am today, and Temple Grandin, PhD, MS, of Colorado State University will deliver the keynote address on August 28, also beginning at 8 AM.

Sponsored by Hill’s, Trupanion, and Zoetis, dvm360® UNLEASHED! will start at 8 am on August 27. Christman and radio personality Matt Bubala will host this rapid-fire Q&A session featuring a panel of veterinarians from VetScoop, at which audience members will compete for prizes. Part 2 of this high-energy CE event will take place on Sunday.

Today from 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm, we will be honoring the winners of dvm360®’s Hospital Design Competition. This celebratory luncheon is open to all attendees, but seating is limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. Winners, architects, and designers—including experts from Animal Arts—will take part in a panel discussion. “I’d like to personally congratulate the winners and encourage everyone to meet them at lunch today,” Christman said.

Tonight, those of you who accepted the invitation to our block party will enjoy food, drink, music, and canine companionship at Bar K, courtesy of Purina Pet Care. Bring your dogs to this indoor/outdoor park. According to Christman, “It will be an experience like no other.”

During the conference you will also be able to enjoy coffee breaks in the exhibit hall: 10:15 am-11 am on all 3 days and 3:45 pm-4:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. It’ll be a good time to recharge while networking with exhibitors who understand your problems and provide the solutions.

As always, our top priority is the health, safety, and well-being of attendees. Based on the advice of health experts and the latest guidelines and local regulations, the registration process has been streamlined, everyone will be asked to practice social distancing, venue staff will disinfect public spaces frequently, and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the convention center. With these measures in place, you will be able to safely interact with peers, friends, colleagues, faculty, and sponsors and explore products in the exhibit hall.

“Thank you for all you do as veterinarians and paraprofessionals,” Christman said, adding, “We hope you enjoy the conference.” He also asked everyone to stop by and say hello. “If I’m not live on Tik Tok, you’ll be sure see me pop in out of taking pictures. Come take a selfie with me!”

And remember to save the dates for the 2023 Fetch dvm360® conference in Kansas City, August 25 to 27.
