Dawn Boothe, DVM, MS, PhD, DACVIM, DACVCP: Many of our clients just don't understand that they're not drugs. They're not regulated. They don't go through a pre market assessment. They don't go through a good, "is it safe [and] does it work" [test]. You know, you can go get some grass and some dirt and mix it up in your bathtub and put it in a bottle, put a pretty label on it, and you can sell it, and there's really nobody to hold you accountable.
