If it's true that ads primarily "jump-start the sales process," then shouldn't the benefit to the customer be obvious and immediate? We're all conditioned to look for the best deal to solve our problem. "What's in it for me?" is the first answer we want to see.

In your advertisement's headline and opening sentences, quickly and concisely show potential customers what your product can do. Tell them you understand their concerns and will solve them. Even better, show insight into their customer's problems and show value from that point of view. "What's in it for me?" Answer this critical question in as many ways as possible and you will hook your target audience. Let a great and to-the-point ad jump-start your sales process and your customer interactions.
