During this interview with dvm360®, Walter Brown, RVTg, VTS, ECC, explained how he answered the call to become a veterinary technician
Walter Brown, RVTg, VTS, ECC, believes the choice to become a veterinary technician was an easy one because it is a calling. Like most veterinary professionals, Brown developed a love for animals at a young age after spending time with pets at his grandmother's house. To Brown, gaining that love for animals and their care at a young age helped him to answer the call to later on become a veterinary technician.
The following is a partial transcript of the video.
Walter Brown, RVTg, VTS, ECC: I honestly believe with this profession it is not something you want to do, it is something you are called to do. So, I honestly believe [that] being a veterinary technician, I was called to this profession and just to be able to have a voice for animals that don't actual have I voice I believe is just a cool experience [and] a cool career.
