Summit Hill Laboratories releases its Vetroson Aspirator/Irrigator, a device to be used when suction or delivery of fluids is indicated. It employs positive and negative pressure and also may be used for nebulization or delivery of air under pressure, the company says. Common procedures employed on the suction side of this unit include surgical suction, evacuation of fluids from body cavities, pharyngeal suction and oral cavity suction. Common procedures employed on the compressed air delivery side include ear flushing, wound flushing, wound hydrotherapy, body cavity lavage, sinus flushing and dental flushing, the company says.
