New healthy treat options made specifically for puppies
Bond Vet has collaborated with Boston’s Polkadog Bakery to debut its first line of puppy-specific treats, Lucky Puppy training bits. The treats are USA-made, 100% natural, and made from chicken, beef, turkey, or salmon. Additionally, the veterinarian-backed training bits are “made with no fillers or fake stuff.”
According to a company release,1 Lucky Puppy training bits are smaller than Lucky Dog’s strips, perfect for puppies’ smaller mouths. The small size also makes the treats ideal for training and positive reinforcement.
“Treats are my favorite way to make regular vet visits a positive one for both pets and their parents. And since the Lucky Dog treats are always so popular amongst dogs and cats, it’s great to have a puppy-friendly option,” said Gabrielle Fadl, DVM, director of primary care at Bond Vet, in the release. “Seeing a dog pull their owner into our clinic to get some Lucky Dog treats is not only adorable, but makes bringing pets in for regular preventive health care exams encouraging and fun.”1
Polkadog is a Boston-based company that creates limited-ingredient, natural dog treats at the Boston Fish Pier. The company launched as a brick-and-mortar dog treat store and has expanded into an international pet business. The company specializes in responsibly sourced treats, and Bond Vet joined forces with Polkadog upon expansion to Boston.
Bond Vet’s Lucky Puppy treats are available in clinics and at its e-commerce shop.
