Brookside Agra now offering all-natural Absorb Plus in 25-lb bucket

Available online through Brookside Agra, Absorb Plus now offers a 25-lb bucket option for $29.95 that can be used in a suite of settings from animal production and housing facilities to dog kettles and beyond.

According to the release, Absorb Plus is an all-natural, multipurpose drying agent that delivers sustained suppression and elimination of ammonia, moisture, and odors. What's more, it can be used in several settings, including animal production and housing facilities such as swine and poultry housing, dairy loafing houses, calf units, dog kennels, animal bedding, livestock trucks and trailers, and horse stables. Additionally, Absorb Plus can be used as a drying agent for piglets, for dry foot baths, in whole grain storage bins, and more.

The 25-lb bucket size is designed to provide new options for obtaining Asorb Plus that weren’t previously available.

“Traditionally, we sold Absorb Plus through large custom orders, but due to a high demand for the product by hobby farmers and animal breeders, we decided to package our popular Absorb Plus product in a convenient 25 lb. bucket size available for purchase directly through our website,” said Tim Nelson, Brookside Agra Vice President—Animal Health & Nutrition Sales.

According to Brookside Agra, Absorb Plus is made of 80% hydrated sodium calcium aluminosilicate, combined with a 20% mineral mix of iron, zinc, and copper. The product does not have phosphorus, eliminating concerns regarding manure management and application, and it poses no health threat to animals or humans.

In addition, all of its separate components are on the Generally Recognized As Safe list, says the manufacturer.
