Colorado Veterinary Products introduces the Stinger, an improved cattleprod that is lightweight and moisture resistant. The Stinger features anew design that includes a "V-tip" design to reduce tip damage.The V-tip directs mechanical force to the center versus force applied tothe outside as in a u-shaped design, the company says.

The internal switch is machined from solid brass and activates only whencontact is made with the livestock, the company says. The Stinger is operatedby two 9-volt batteries and is available in three sizes, 12-, 24- and 26-inchunits.
