Chicago suburbs welcomes emergency veterinary hospital

Thrive Pet Healthcare announced that it is opening a new Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialist in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The new multidiscipline veterinary facility will be the first 24/7 emergency care hospital in the area.

“We are thrilled to bring comprehensive and around-the-clock pet care to the Chicagoland area,” said Drew Stutts, Thrive Pet Healthcare Area Vice President, Central Region, in an organizational release.¹ “Our commitment to providing exceptional veterinary services to pets when they need it most is unwavering.”

According to the organizational release, the new facility, located at 2700 W. Higgins Road, will be home to a team of board-certified veterinarians who will work together on complex medical cases. The doctors specialize in emergency medicine and critical care, dermatology, neurology, internal medicine, radiation oncology and medical oncology.

• Jennie Culen, DVM, DACVECC, Medical Director at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists – Hoffman Estates.

“Our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology such as CT and MRI machines, and a Linear Accelerator (LINAC) for cancer treatment, ensures pets receive the best care available,” said Culen.¹

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists – Hoffman Estates is part of a network of 20 Thrive Pet Healthcare hospitals throughout the area of Chicago. Along with its current specialties, the new location will offer cardiology and radiology services in 2024.
