DentalChews are made from plastic material that is softer than original hard nylonbones, the copany says. Gentleand average chewers do not normally bite bones into pieces, but chew andgnaw on them over time. Also, many older dogs and younger puppies cannottolerate harder chews, the company says. Made with round and pliable dentalnobs on all sides, these chews massage the gums and stimulate an increaseof healthy fluids and salivary flow in the mouth, the company says. Frictionagainst teeth helps remove food debris and bacteria that lead to plaqueand tartar buildup, the company says.
