AR200 digital automatic refractometer
The AR200 digital refractometer is designed to determine if drug tampering or alterations in concentration of proper solution have occurred by verifying the present refractive index of the solution and comparing value with the original refractive index value of the solution or drug when it was originally delivered.
The AR200 clinical refractomerter can determine urine specific gravity, serum protein and refractive index of solutions, the company says.
Main advantages: The model AR200 digital automatic refractometer, a handheld unit, has capabilities and features normally found only in benchtop laboratory instruments. The instrument uses high resolution (3600 cells), patented, linear scanned array imaging to achieve a range and accuracy comparable with most laboratory models, the company says.
