Dogster will donate $2 for every new subscription or subscription extension, through September 30.
"Canine cancer is an issue our members feel really passionate about. MAF is doing great work and we are really happy to help their cause," said Steven Reading co-founder of Dogster.com.
MAF is undertaking an unprecedented campaign to fund research to cure canine cancer in the lifetime of a dog -- the next 10 to 20 years. MAF-funded research will help develop treatments to aid dogs suffering today, the organization says. All dogs face a grave threat from cancer. One in four dogs die of cancer, which is even higher for Golden Retrievers where 60 percent will die of cancer. It is the top cause of death in dogs over the age of 2. Many more dogs suffer the devastating effects of the disease.
