Don't send patients home groggy

Article

Re-evaluate your anesthesia protocol to prevent patients going home groggy.

Preventing negative impressions is just as important as making positive ones. Consider anesthesia. It's a scary subject for pet owners, and we need to minimize client fears if we want services that need anesthesia—such as dentistry—to grow. Are your clients hesitant about or refusing much-needed dental care because their pets were "wobbly" and "groggy" after previous routine dental cleanings? Perhaps it's time to re-evaluate your dental anesthesia protocol to improve client compliance, patient health, and your bottom line. We market our mandatory preanesthetic testing, sevoflurane anesthesia, and patient monitoring and support procedures as part of our ASAP—as safe as possible—package to improve dental care compliance and get patients the procedures they need.
