The Zoological Education Network announces the release of a DVD for managing captive birds.
Based on the natural foraging instinct of all animals by author Dr. Scott Echols, the DVD introduces the concept of including a foraging tree in a bird's enclosure for environmental enrichment.
The 30-minute video describes how a foraging tree can potentially reduce unwanted behaviors in captive birds. Also included are step-by-step directions on how to use a foraging tree as well as safe foraging toys for birds. A separate Special Feature details scientific information about the bird species is included in the program.
The DVD is available as a single unit or may be purchased in lots of 10 at a reduced price for resale. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to qualified avian research projects selected by the author.
